INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE TRAINING

Our Indian Head Massage Training is perfect for therapists who would like to offer a deeply relaxing and holistic treatment focusing on the upper back, shoulders, neck, scalp and face. This traditional therapy helps relieve tension, reduce stress, improve circulation and promote overall wellbeing.

The training includes both a comprehensive theoretical module and practical work on a live model. During the theory session we cover anatomy and physiology of the head, neck and shoulders, benefits of Indian Head Massage, consultation process, contraindications and contra-actions, treatment structure, aftercare advice, as well as Health & Safety, hygiene standards, legislation and insurance requirements to ensure safe and professional practice.

During the practical session, you will learn:

• Correct client positioning (seated and couch options)
• Traditional massage techniques and pressure variations
• Scalp, neck, shoulder and facial massage movements
• How to create a flowing, relaxing treatment routine
• How to adapt the treatment to different client needs

The training is delivered 1:1 or in a maximum group of two students which allows me to give you my full attention, correct any mistakes, refine your technique and build your confidence.

The course takes place in a friendly, supportive and stress-free atmosphere so you can feel comfortable throughout your learning experience. During the training, students are provided with snacks as well as hot and cold drinks.

After completing the course you can continue to count on my ongoing support and guidance as you begin offering Indian Head Massage treatments professionally.
